Skate or Die

As Rebecca already pointed out, one of Oliver's favorite things to do is longboard. He liked it quite a bit until we upgraded the regular old ride-down-the-hill routine, and now he LOVES it. The new angle came in the form of a dirty old tennis ball we found on one of our rides. He loved to hold it during the ride, then we improved on that by throwing it in front of us down the hill, catching up and grabbing it without slowing. Here are some pics (without the tennis ball. We lost it and need to get a new one). Not too exciting, but you get the idea.

You just aren't ever going to get fat, are you? Lame.

Good form on teaching the little guy.

The tennis ball game sounds awesome. I'm glad he likes this kind of stuff. When it's time to lose that helmet, he'll be ready.

This makes me very nervous, but it's also very cute. The tennis ball part seems very risky to me when you consider that you will literally jump in front of a train for an even less signifcant object.

LOL Dave with the "fat" comment. Definitely not fair.

And BIG LOL Ange! That brought back a very graphic and chilling memory.

That does sound really fun, Chris. Lucky little Oliver to have such a fun Dad!

My lawyer has asked me to inform you of the intellectual property you have used without permission from my blog. We are seeking a retraining order requiring you to cease and desist from ripping me off. Dis. That would definately be.

Unlike your other "friend" I'm happy for you and Oliver.

What would you estimate is the top speed you reach with Oliver?

Without knowing the train story, but knowing you, I know the train story.

Maylor, we probably get up to 20 mph on our little hill. All perfectly safe with this guy at the helm, of course.
