From this...to this

I was reminiscing today about how our life has changed over the past year- from apartment to house and from baby to little boy. It all happens so fast and while it is so exciting, it's also so sad that my little guy will never be a baby again.

Can you believe what a little chubba he was??? (This was one year ago, exactly.)

I used to love when he would fall asleep so peacefully in his car seat. Why is it that once they reach a certain age they fight sleep?

Yes, I actually found Oliver "reading" the other day- this is not staged.

Like father, like son, right?

Oh, that is kind of sad to realize how fast it's gone. Those baby chubba pictures are the best! I can't believe he was browsing through a book, but mostly it cracks me up that in a fair amount of pictures he is just lying on the ground, so cute! Great post!

The bittersweet truth, Reba! I remember our children as young ones with an ache...it all goes so quickly. I remember so many people telling me to enjoy it because it passes so fast. They were right. What a handsome young man he's becoming, though!!

How cute that he already loves books. He looks so intelligent. And I had totally forgotten how chubby he was! What a chunk!! Who would've thunk that skinny, lanky Christain and petite Reba could make a fat human. hmmmm, werid. Next thing you knwo, my kids will be skinny! :)

Reba, the house looks so beautiful. Also wanting one of those ...someday. (usually not so covetous)

It always makes me sad when I think about how much my girls have grown up- just wait til he starts to talk!! Oliver has gotten so cute! I can hardly wait to see him next week!

It's a sad thing about Christian's punting. The rest of us have talked about it.

But I'm really glad that he's working on it so my sons-in-law don't have to patronize him and that our family won't be quietly embarrassed anymore. Keep it up, son. Just do your very best. Love, Dad
