Non-recommendation

These are two of the WORST books I have read in a long time, possibly ever. Especially the latter. Anti-climactic much? I think Stephenie Meyer has seen her day in the spotlight and it's all down hill from here on out. Sorry fans.

Is this Reba or Kook posting? I'm interested to hear why you disliked Breaking Dawn so much. I haven't read it--and probably won't.

I haven't heard anything about The Host, but have heard many people that DETESTED Breaking Dawn.

That's the thing Sadie...it ends so well, it's dumb. I agree Reba.

I agree, I actually havent read it, and am not going to because of all the things i have heard. I looked up spoilers on the internet and I am dissapointed in how it all comes together.

I can't believe so many people are so disappointed with it, I LOVED it! It may have been all too perfect in the end, but I just like happy endings! :P

Completely agree about the Host. Halfway there on Breaking Dawn. I was bored by the time they left the "private island". It took me a couple weeks to finish. Eh...we'll just pretend book IV never happened.

Have I been to your blog and left a comment before? I can't remember, but I occasionally click through some of the newbies from my sitemeter and see who's readin' the 'ol blog...

Anyway, I couldn't help my self but leave a comment to say AMEN sister! I haven't read The Host, but I'm halfway through Breaking Dawn and I think Ben probably best lock up the knives and razors. It's taken me weeks {months?} to get to this point because there is no joy in picking that book up.

In fact, I've read on since Twilight, but haven't enjoyed 99% of the story since that book. At one point I almost threw Eclipse across the room.

It does suck you in, and even when I don't like what is happening in the story, I always read on -HOPING against hope to get back to something I could give a rats about... ps -hasn't happened.

Initially I couldn't stand Jacob -now I just plain can't stand any of them -especially Bella who already pretty much bugged. Who marries someone who you're supposedly SO in love with just to keep hanging around with your ex, of whom your husband can't stand? I can't stand reading such disrespect -and acting like the way they all act is NORMAL and okay! It's not!

I liked Twilight, but the next book I read after it was "These Is My Words" and it was so infinitely superior to these books I can't stand it. The hero in that book would kick Edwards... any day!

Okay, thanks for letting me rant. I feel much better now.

I'm crushed that so many people hated this book! I mean, yes, there were definitely some parts that I wish were different, but aren't we expecting a little much out of a glorified teeny-bopper book??? I guess my expectations weren't as high as everyone else's...and I also happened to LOVE the Host, how cute was Ian? Oh well, I guess no one will ever take my book recommendations seriously ever again...(c:
