Tag-riffic!

Here we go again! I love reading these, and since I seriously lack in the creativity department, I thought instead of sorting through my mind to figure out another post, I'd let the tag template do the work for me. Here goes:

What is your husbands name? Christian, though family and friends pre-college know him as Chris, which I think is a rather unattractive alternative to Christian. So, I've stood my ground and when we are with his family, I am still the ONLY one to refer to him as "Christian."

How long have you been married? 3 1/2 years

How long did you date? Almost 6 months. I know- embarrassing.

How old is he? 28, almost 29

Who eats more sweets? Me. Though pregnancy has kind of flipped that for us and he has had quite a few notable binges.

Who said I love you first? Christian

Who is taller? Christian- by almost a whole foot

Who can sing the best? This is a tough one. I used to think I could sing fairly well, but I'm realizing that I have a hard time remembering a tune, for which I attract constant laughs. Christian has an incredible voice and could totally moonlight as a lounge singer.

Who is smarter? Christian. He's one of the smartest people I know and he is always eager to learn new things.

Who does the laundry? Funny. Do I want to be able to find my clothes? I do it.

Who pays the bills? Moi.

Who mows the lawn? Christian. I kind of can't stand the smell of freshly cut grass.

Who cooks dinner? If you'd like a mean grilled cheese: Christian. I actually LOVE to cook, it's one of my favorite things.

Who drives? Christian.

Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Christian. I think he would say that I'm getting better at this, though.

Who kissed who first? This is how it went down. Christian and I were chatting in my car at the end of the night one night and all the sudden, out of the corner of my eye, I see him coming towards me. It was so unexpected and quick that he literally had me pinned against the window of my car before I realized what was happening. Needless to say, it wasn't the greatest kiss, but it has made for some good storytelling.

Who asked who out first? Christian. We met in a tanning salon. I was working and he was, well...stuff that you do in a tanning salon.:) J/K. He was buying books there (long story).

Who wears the pants? This is a tough one b/c it depends and we are both pretty stubborn. But, if I had to answer, I would say Christian.

Very interesting, Rebecca. Great first kiss story, and LOL about the laundry:"Do I want to be able to find my clothes? I do it." Excellent!

Also, some sweet comments about ChrisTIAN. I agree btw, that that sounds better than "Chris". It's just hard to start now with a new name. You stick to your guns girl.

I think you did a good job answering this survey. I like it when they are answered in full sentences and not just one word and you gave a paragraph for some of them!

Great tag post. I love how the way you write is just like the way you talk, I could just hear you saying those things. I'm the last to apologize too, but like you hopefully have improved. I'm glad you two are married. We miss you!

so funny rebecca. Loved reading that, mainly b/c it was interesting, but partly b/c if I had to see "I need your digits" one more time... ; ) so true what ange said, I can totally hear you saying that, with some snaps in the z formation thrown in the mix too. Anyway, good stuff. oh and nice cheat answer on 6 months dating, that is counting your engagement too right? busted. ; )

Reb, that was really fun to read. Personally, I think Kook beats both Chris and Christian (which, when I hear it, always makes me think he's in trouble). You are a fun writer to read.

That "attack first kiss" still makes me laugh... I miss you guys! We'll be back for Thanksgiving, it'll be a quick trip but maybe we could get together!

Hey guys, how are you? What are your plans for Thanksgiving and Christmas? We are here for the first and in ALB for the latter. We need to get together if we cross paths at all. And did you hear that Jeremiah got an offer from a firm there so we will be back this summer....and hopefully after school to! We are so excited!

Great, great post, Reba. The kissing story is top-notch. I am getting good at calling him Christian because I have sensed the way things have been decreed.

I liked your explanations. I love Christian's inquisitive mind and his comprehensive memory of things he's learned and read, too.

I'm glad you love your husband so much. It speaks volumes about you that you respect him so much.

But we think he is a very fortunate man to have found you.

hilarious. i forgot you guys met at good ole club tan. Funny stuff. Who doesn't like the smell of cut grass??? I love it. Also...i would agree with you on Christian's voice...I was schocked at what a good singer he was when we play catch phrase music edition. He's got a nice set of pipes.
