Amelia Bedelia Turns Two!

I CANNOT believe my little baby girl is 2 years old! She still feels like my little baby and it makes me sad to think she's becoming an independent little diva. So, we celebrated a week ago with one of her favorite meals- manicotti. Julie and Seth and Grandma and Grandpa Bell came for dinner and cake (chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting and oreo crumbles--mmmmm). She was SOOO excited about all of her gifts and wanted to play with them all right then and there.
Amelia is such a little sweetheart. She absolutely loves to snuggle and give hugs and kisses. She has the cutest smile and she knows just when to cheese it up for people. She's become quite the actress/ham/diva. We love it and she brings a whole new level of excitement to our home. She is also very demanding (in a cute way:)) and knows how to get just what she wants. Bring on the terrible 2's!

After a Small Hiatus...

Here's a short and sweet update of what's been going on around here. Just to sum up the last couple months: we almost moved to California, Christian went to Las Vegas for a work conference, I went to Denver to help my sister Jennefer with her new baby, Mamie Jane, my Dad came to town, went to my aunt and uncle's missionary farewell, and my sister Rachel came to town last weekend. So, we've been busy and time has been flying by. It's finally starting to get a little warm here in Utah. Let's cross our fingers it stays that way- I'm done with cold days.

Oliver fell asleep on the stairs one night. Reminded me of the time he did this.

These two are teasing each other a lot less, and become sweet friends.

Amelia spends a LOT of time in the pantry, scrounging around for whatever food she can find.

Oliver and Amelia LOVE to read. They'd sit and listen to us read to them all day long. Amelia also has a thing for wearing her jackets all day long, inside the house.
