Has it really only been 2 weeks since the start of 2011?? The year started off with a reunion with some of our best friends from Albuquerque that came up to Utah for the Christmas break. We enjoyed a fun, yummy lunch at Cheesecake Factory in SLC. The next day, we went up to my parent's Sundance cabin. I cleaned for the next renters while Christian and Oliver sledded off the roof and tromped around in the 4+ feet of fresh snow. And, on the 3rd we got to attend Greg's Inauguration as Lt. Governor at the Utah State Capital. It was so neat to be there at the beautiful state capital building for such an amazing event. The ceremony was so neat and inspiring.
Oliver and I went out and played in the snow in our backyard after a big snow storm.
Don't hate on our improvised snow boots for Oliver. We only had a snow bib for a 2 year old, so we had to "lengthen" it a bit somehow. He was loving it.

love the boots. That cabin is so great! I love Sundance.
Cute little Oliver in the snow! I'm very impressed with your improvisation on his snow clothes. There's hardly anything more fun for a little kid than playing in fresh snow. Makes me happy for him!
That snow looks so fun! Sledding off the roof onto where? How did that work?
