If you didn't have the chance to hear Oprah's comments on ABC's election coverage last night with Robin Roberts, you need to hear it. You can watch it here:

If you can't access it there, just go to abcnews.com and look up Oprah, "I've been vibrating all night", and/or interview with Robin Roberts. I only saw until the last 1:25. It's too bad, too, b/c there were some real gems after that minute that I wish I would have seen.
I am not a hugely political person- I leave that up to Christian, but I could not help myself. On a side note, while I am not disappointed or excited about the presidential elections last night (though it was a HORRIBLE night for New Mexican politics in my opinion) the good news is- no, the GREAT news is that Prop 8 passed in California. I salute all those people that worked so incredibly hard and even endured persecution to get that passed.

I had to stop wathing the clip after her bragging about the drug addicts coming out to vote. Nice. I can't agree with you more. Thanks for posting. Also, way to go Prop 102!!!!
And I'm so happy about Prop 8, especially after I got so fired up about a specific commercial that aired in Cali yesterday... (see my friend Aril and Cory's blog if you're interested-it's quite disturbing though)
Good for Prop 8! I heard that ultimately it was the Latino/Black vote that put it over the top.
I loved the part about the drug addicts- its interesting to note what had to happen for all those people to come out of the woodwork to vote. I love how this election has become about race and no longer about politics. Disturbing, really.
Rebecca, I join in your tribute to those who not only spent time, but in some cases endured some hateful persecution in an effort to get that passed. What a crucial victory.
Interesting Brade, about the Latinos and Blacks. Good for them!

PLEASE
Add this link to the blogs you follow. We really need to get the word out for Hillary in her business venture.
Much Appreciated!
I like that people overcoming addiction voted. Good for them, and good for us. I've never been much of a fan of Oprah but I didn't see anything wrong with her comments. Did I miss something?
PS: i can't believe I just posted a comment defending Oprah.
Also, sorry we missed you when you were in town. Yeah Chris I've forsaken J.E.W. Mostly because sometimes I got a little hot under the collar about some of the Romney stuff. I'm not as good at electronic interactions with others as I am at the old face to face kind.
Happy baby brewing!
